Stripling Elementary School's Cultural Heritage Night
Come and Join Us for a fun-filled Evening.
We will have a Cultural Fashion Show, Food Samples, Dances, and Fun Hands-On Activities Throughout the Building.
Take a tour of these different countries to learn about cultural and stories to tell.
Ireland - read aloud and story retelling: "Fiona's Luck" aligned with Irish folklore.
Cuba - informational reading about Cuban culture, history, and traditions.
Japan - reading nonfiction text to learn about traditional Japanese art, clothing, folktales, and origami.
Mexico - traditional stories and culture study of the Day of the Dead.
Nigeria - learn about Nigerian characters in traditional stories, music, and art.
Spain - text study of culture, art, dance.
Venezuela - reading informational texts to learn about the country.

Families, please join us on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 6:00 PM for an amazing evening focused on building literacy skills and learning how to help your student at home.
Hear stories from around the world as we celebrate many different cultures!
