Art Club
Mission/Purpose: In Art Club, students will grow their artistic skill set by exploring different mediums and techniques. Students will also learn about using their creativity to contribute to a community by making pieces of art for school events.
Supervisor: Ms. Fallon
Description: Lessons in 2D and 3D art (drawing, painting, sculpting), creation of a student sketch book, and painting art for school events (Valentines Family Dance, International Night, Chairs for Charity)
Meeting day and time: Tuesdays (Sep-Nov and Feb-April) 3:00-4:15
Book Club/Reader's Rally
Mission Statement: The Book Club is dedicated to igniting reading enthusiasm, enriching minds, and building a strong community of book lovers by exploring diverse literature together.
Purpose: Book Club is a fun place for kids who love books! We read cool stories together, talk about what we think, and make new friends. It's like having a big book party!
Faculty Advisor: Barbara Rodriguez & Kristina Kairys
Activities: Book Club will read a mix of different genres and discuss the different elements of the story. As for the ReadersRally club will read a list of 15 books and become experts on the content of each book. Ten students from the club will compete against other schools in the county at the annual Gwinnett Readers Rally competition where they will try to earn points by answering questions about the books.
Meeting Dates: We will meet every Wednesday during their W.I.N. time during school hours. At our meetings, we will read and discuss books. We’ll also get to play with buzzers (like on Jeopardy!).
Members are expected to be positive and supportive contributors to the club. You must take an active role in participating!
Participants: 4th and 5th grade students are welcome to apply to this team!

Chorus Club
Chorus Mission Statement: Purpose / Mission: The purpose of the Stripling Chorus is to provide enriching musical experiences outside of the general music classroom that will allow students to work collaboratively toward performances. Our mission is to create an environment which allows students to grow as musicians, build relationships with each other and become lifelong supporters of the arts.
Faculty Advisor: Ms. Brandon
Activities: Members will spend time rehearsing challenging music to prepare for performance. We will practice a variety of vocal music, incorporating various percussion instruments and barred instruments (xylophones).
Meeting Dates / Days: Tuesdays from 3:10-4:15 PM. Chorus will have its final meeting date in May, after our final performance.
Participants: 4th and 5th Grade may participate in this club

Girls on the Run
About- Girls on the Run is a physical activity -based positive youth development program that inspires 3rd-5t grade girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience- based curriculum that creatively integrates running.
Mission- it is a club where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.
Purpose-
- To recognize our power and responsibility to be intentional in our decision-making
- Embrace our differences and find strength in our connectedness
- Express joy, optimism, and gratitude through our words, thoughts, and actions
- Nurture our physical, emotional, and spiritual health
- Stand up for ourselves and others

Good News Club
Good News Club is an exciting, fun-filled hour and a half club sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship®. It includes:

Guitar Club Mission Statement: Purpose / Mission: The purpose of the Guitar Club is to provide enriching musical experiences outside of the general music classroom that will allow students to work collaboratively toward performances. Meeting Dates / Days: Wednesdays from 3:10-4:15PM. Guitar Club will have its final meeting date in May, after our final performance.

Lego Robotics Club- "Discover" (K & 1)
Lego Robotics Club- "Submerged" (2nd & 3rd)
Mission Statement: Lego Robotics Explore strives to introduce the field of computer science and STEM to young students while encouraging critical thinking, creative problem solving, and collaborative leadership.
Purpose: Over the course of the year, we will explore how technology can enhance the world of art. We will refine our research and leadership skills to develop a single robot from Legos that addresses the theme of the season: technology in art.
Faculty Advisor: Taylor (Ty) Farmer
Activities: In March 2025, we will host a Parent’s Night to showcase all of our amazing creations before we go to our End of Year Festival in April 2025!
Meeting Dates: Wednesdays until 4:30PM

Robotics Club- "Challenge" (4th & 5th)
Rising Rockets Club
Mission: Rising Rockets is dedicated to guiding 5th-grade students on their journey to success by equipping them with essential life skills while preparing them for middle school. We cover a wide array of topics designed to foster personal growth and enhanced study skills, including:
- Personal Character Development: Cultivating qualities like resilience, empathy, and integrity.
- Academic Support: Focused assistance in areas such as test-taking techniques, study skills, goal setting, and time management.
Purpose: Our comprehensive 8-week program aims to empower students by equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful transition into middle school.
Faculty Advisor: Ms. Jenkins
Meeting Days/Times: Wednesdays 3 pm – 4 pm. March 19th, 26th, April 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, May 7th and 14th.
Participants: Exclusively for rising 6th-grade students.
